Marcus Scriptor Poem in Interlingua and English

You are able to read here one of of Marcus Scriptor’s poems in Interlingua. He has written in Interlingua for some time. I like that my readers see what is possible when Interlingua is in use of advanced user. (I am only a beginner when it comes to Interlingua). First you can read the poem in Interlingua and its rhyming translation by Marcus. After that there is my more literal translation for learning purposes. I hope this poem will get you excited to this language. Of course, there is an English language but using a proper English is far more harder task than using a proper Interlingua, which can also be a bridge to Romance languages. Stella hibernal

Calide auree stella hibernal
Tu me rememora del gaudio vernal
Ex tu interior luce emerge
Sur terra glacial tu lo disperge

In iste tempore de guerras fatal
Tu adveni con le pace de Natal
Sempre tu porta a nos le spero
Preveni le cadita in despero
